It’s #caturday and Joe celebrates with some upside down head, fluffy tummy flashing and big yawns, then tries to resume his classy #tuxedocat position on top of his tower of power 🦁🦁🦁🦁

Stripy cat Joe with lovely white bib, white tummy and gloves like a snooker player, with upside down head…thinking to himself “here comes roly-poly time…ready steady….Joe!” Joe flashes his fluffy white tummy and rolls onto his back. Pink paws facing upwards and one half closed crocodile eye watching to make sure nobody tries to touch his tummy. Joe yawns, still keeping a beady eye out for anyone that might dare to try and tickle his tummy. Claws at the ready! Nothing to see but a wide eyed, cool as a cucumber Joe back in his position lounging on his tower like the king of the castle. (Even though he doesn’t like the idea of kings as superior, untouchable beings and more privileged than the rest of us. Especially not orange ones that self appoint themselves).

Two identical stripey cats falling asleep entwined in eachother. It appears there is only one body, two heads and a tail. They are brothers and although they like to wrestle and hiss at eachother occasionally, they spend a good portion of every day wrapped up together.

What a sad time for the family. There is a very moving section on www.peteryarrow.net set up by Peter’s children while he was unwell where people were invited to contribute messages to be shared with their Dad while he was still alive. What a force for joy and kindness he has been ❤️

This is a screenshot of one of many messages, this from Mary Chapin Carpenter which reads… Dear Peter, In 2010 I was lucky enough to join you and Noel on stage for a concert inNYC - it was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life, as I grew up listening to P, P & M ’s music and to sing with you both all these years later felt like the most charmed of magical circles coming back around…I am so happy to share this photograph (I don’t know who took it, apologies!) as proof that it happened!
