My oldest won’t do mushrooms (texture) so I strained the gravy after making it and then added mushrooms on top for my youngest and myself.

I used way too many mushrooms to make the gravy so now I have to figure out what to do with the rest.

As Matt said, we aren’t discussing superior product, we are discussing authenticity.
Some of these fries were thick cut like a steak fry, they hand cut them on site so there was not a consistency.

I’ve been inspired to make my own version this upcoming weekend, not authentic but maybe superior.

The gravy at Junior’s is a mushroom gravy, last night it didn’t have the big chunks of mushroom, but it was also later, maybe they already gave all the chunks away :)

We had Junior’s the night before (one of their Manhattan locations after a show) superior gravy and thick fries.
