Probably a good idea to accommodate some of your spouse's preferences as a way to signal that you care about them and value the relationship, and disregarding their preferences because "it's not important to me, personally" does send a pretty bad message but ymmv

At one of my first post-college jobs I shared an office with a real nice guy. Family man, three kids, good head on his shoulders. We'd chat about stuff all the time. One time the topic of demonic possession came up and I learned he believed that it was a real thing, and I had no idea what to say.

As a guy who plays the occasional RPG, one of the healthiest things you can do is simply ignore the opinions of ~gamers~, a community that is often characterized by antisocial maladjusted little freaks.

Classic essay format where you just state the things you've been told at church and ignore any other research on the subject done by people who study it for a living. The height of scholarship.

Yeah, that's my thought as well. I mean getting 3 points off a turnover is better than nothing, but we gotta come up with some way to get into the endzone.
