Stupid take. I'm no fan of Cuomo, but he literally was registered as a Democrat within the last month. You can dislike him and his policies while still refraining from calling everyone you disagree with a Republican -- it's (supposed to be) a big tent!!!

A bridge over lincoln would be cool, but it would be nice if it was actually a functional connector that expanded the public space. This just takes up space and doesn't look practical to use.

I listened to the clip from Axios and found it newsworthly. It gave me additional insight into Biden's condition. Biden's decision not to run-- and other democrats' decision not to challenge him-- remains highly consequential to the world today and merits attention.

this is helpful- thx. Would be helpful too for a future version to show all municipalities and their compliance status, making it easy to see both which ones are in compliance-- and more importantly, which are not.

This headline feels deliberately restrained from what could have been a far more sensationalist headline related to the two suicide attempts they allegedly observed. I am glad the Sun choose to not sensationalize someone's struggles with mental health, and this headline seems fair to me.

Do you have any sense if there was in merit in the Sun holding the story until after the election? It reads like they were going to publish on election eve but folded once they heard from her lawyers.

It seems to raise real questions both about Caraveo's team's conduct and the Sun's commitment to reporting consequential information when it was actionable to voters.
