So, this happened. I wish I could say I was doing something exciting like riding a Honda in the MotoGP, but the reality is that I tripped while scurrying to catch a bus. Oh, the ignominy of it all! 😊😒😋

Hiking is hard and dangerous, but the views around here can be pretty great!

It's been a little over a year since I lost my partner. I miss that big idiot. Maybe more now than I did last year, because last year the grief was all consuming, & I believed that if I could just wake up, he'd be there. I realized this week that I still hope he'll return, that it's a mistake.

It's not invasive, it's evolution. *We* just happen to be the agents of evolution - bringing bugs, flora and fauna to new locales. Just because they are new, & doing better than the ones we grew up with, doesn't make them invaders. They didn't come here on their own to make havoc.
It’s going to take a concerted effort to keep these from spreading around parts of British Columbia. 🪲 🪳

It's not invasive, it's evolution. *We* just happen to be the agents of evolution - bringing bugs, flora and fauna to new locales. Just because they are new, & doing better than the ones we grew up with, doesn't make them invaders. They didn't come here on their own to make havoc.
