Never would have guessed back then that we'd have a Spice and Wolf anime remake before it.

He's the goat, every one of these were great. I love anthology anime, wish we got more of them.

Didn't remember a thing about this movie, maybe because nothing much happened in it. The climax was solid I suppose.
I do have a soft spot for non-canon anime original films, but this wasn't one of the best ones I've seen.

Thought they'd struggle to follow up the high of S4, but no, that was another amazing season. Middle of the arc especially was phenomenal, loved how psychological it got.

Absolute peak, very happy that JC Staff gave this 2 cours and the passion it deserved.
Easily the best arc so far, the tension and pure struggle in the second half was excellent.

Back to as good as the first season, enjoyed them spending the whole time on a single arc.

As I remembered, not as good as the first season. Still solid on the whole, but the arcs are weaker, and it kneecaps the message of the 2nd arc right at the end.

This was actually one of the first few anime I ever watched, back in 2015 when I was in my SAO phase.
Half rewatching it for nostalgia, half because I never watched S4, which I hear is peak.
Solid first season, enjoyed the characters & fights.

It's extremely rare for Key to do them (only been in Clannad & Angel Beats 1st Beat), I feel like there's a lot they could do with them.

Great to be able to read this with a proper EN TL now.
It's fairly good, not Laplacian's strongest in any area, but it comes together well at the end. Would have liked an epilogue as it ends fairly abruptly. Also i dislike the AI-assisted BGs...

Though also it's somehow had a 2+ year dev cycle all to add maybe an hour or two of new content. Not sure how that worked out, maybe they put it on the back burner for ages.

Another place to cope for a Steam port announcement...

Released in 2008, never got a re-release in Japan, or even a digital release, and it's never had an EN fan-tl.
It's a great Winter utsuge that draws on Ainu mythology, helmed by Kai, who's worked on most Key VNs.

Finally catching up on HBR after falling a few months behind. Another great chapter, Maeda doesn't miss. I'd put it as my 2nd favourite chapter so far, behind 4.1
