Have been learning Python for a small bit now; trying to grow into a true Game Developer. Occasional pet post.

Full of ideas.
Been loving Cyberpunk 2077 lately, I do think however; it may still have a few bugs.

Finished Cyberpunk Edgerunners the other day finally. I'm never going to be able to hear "I Really Want To Stay At Your House" play ever again without being heart broken.

Serrano won that how did any of the judges think other wise. More punches thrown, landed, and a higher %. She fought through those headbutts, all Taylor did was hold and headbutt.

Feeling nostalgic over old works. 3.5 years ago I took part in this Hyrule Redrawn #pixelart project, where loads of awesome artists could select a tile and redraw it (following the size + palette restrictions).

The whole thing is over here to look through: hyruleredrawn.github.io/zeldaNES/

Getting back into Pixelart, kind of relaxing.

Over at the other place all I see is

"this game sucks"
"the industry is cooked"
"Woke! DEI!"
*complaints about game fidelity*

Here meanwhile:

"I love this game"
"Check out my gaming collection"
"Here's a list of games I love"
*Overwhelming positive discussion*

The contrast is staggering.

Officially on the last chapter for my Python Foundations course, it's starting to feel like I'm breaking through a wall.

I think I'm going to begin experimenting with Pygame this week.

I definitely think one thing that is helping majorly on this quest, is learning the ability of how to learn.

Knowing an efficient way of learning can improve your studies quite a bit. I've made more progress in my Python journey than I would've without this skill.

I'd like to hear opinions on the use of PyGame or Godot for the development of a pixel art 2D RPG game, similar to those of the SNES days.

Never used Twitter/X much. I want to use this page to document my journey through Game Development.
