On October 26 2026 the Buffalo Maritime Center's 1825 replica Erie Canal Boat Seneca Chief arrived in NYC Harbor, commemorating the 200th anniversary of the opening of the Erie Canal lead by the original Seneca Chief Canal boat. Over 200 volunteers built this boat.

Working at the Buffalo Maritime Center on some projects. The black boat is a 2/3rd replica of the War of 1812 sloop Trippe, which should be on the water this summer. The other boat is a refurb where we are currently taking off the Teek pieces to be finished and reinstalled, plus some structural work

My Ford has wired CarPlay so I’ve tried a number of wireless solutions. Most of them have various issues, including audio lag on phone calls, which can really disrupt a conversation. I’ve finally found one that doesn’t have a lag issue so far.. hopefully it lasts! a.co/d/dYWdWG8
