Full of beans. Not a metaphor. I just eat a lot of beans.
I remember one of your vids being posted on r/physics and getting into an argument (loser behaviour I know) with the person who posted this. Completely broke my brain.

Will miss your physics content but it's your infectious enthusiasm that makes you enjoyable to watch, regardless of subject matter.

Eh there are compelling reasons to go beyond failure. Different ways of doing it: drop sets, myo-reps, lengthened partials, having a bro lend a hand. It's a preference thing.

Hey I'll take youthful dumbness over senility. Can't even stay logically consistent between two consecutive posts.

Wait so in your previous comment you said they can't brick your device. Now they can? Am I understanding this right?

Or maybe it's that the subject is more nuanced.

Did calling me a "dumb kid" make you feel smart?

Another disingenuous take. These days, so much of a device's functionality is tied up in online services. 20 years ago, you catch an xbox live ban and you could still go out and buy a physical disc, you could still use the device for its intended purpose. Now you get an sd card with a download link.

What about when it's your car? Your tractor that ploughs your field? Drone equipment to defend your country? Because there are examples of all of these being bricked. This is a wider issue and your reaction is pearl clutching, "Won't somebody please think of the billion dollar multi nationals"

Furthermore, if something in your house breaks, you can fix it (given you have the skills, material etc.). You can't say the same for vehicles any more, you can say the same for electronics, you can't "fix" your google or apple account. Ownership is null and void if you don't conform.

As thought it's some "gotcha". Now do cars. Do consumer borrowing etc.
May 20, 2025 at 8:56 AM
I thought we weren't googling? Idgaf about the US, your country is rotten
May 20, 2025 at 8:54 AM
quick, no googling, now do the last 10 years
May 20, 2025 at 8:46 AM
We're hurtling towards a reality where no one "owns" anything and your reaction is to say "grow up". Sure, great, good input.
May 20, 2025 at 7:22 AM
You're fighting consumer sentiment, case law and reality itself on this one.
May 20, 2025 at 7:17 AM
And that's aside from the right to repair issue... My switch 2 breaks, I carry out a board level repair, replacing a component with a third party one (as is my right tested in US + EU law), which changes the build ID of the device. I'm now a modder. Nice paper-weight mate.
May 20, 2025 at 7:16 AM
You're framing this as though that is the only reason for modifying your device is to steal, which is disingenuous. People root their phones for improved ui customisation/accessibility, file storage access, to use gyros/sensors in novel ways, sideload other OS etc. I never rooted my phones to steal.

But yeah agreed, there has to be a smart way of giving delvers myth track gear that doesn't force players into content they don't want to do.
April 23, 2025 at 7:43 AM
group. The only way I can see them creating the same "difficulty" is by making delves spec specific like they did with mage tower, but I just cannot see Blizz investing the time and effort it would take to create a dozen delves for 40 specs every season
April 23, 2025 at 7:41 AM
minority of people who gatekeep gear. I understand people wanting gear lvl to be proportional to the difficulty of the content. One of the things I love about m+ is that it forces the group to use their entire toolkit, but there are 5 possible classes so there's usually always an answer in the...
April 23, 2025 at 7:40 AM
Yeah, it's a difficult problem to solve. I understand them wanting to incentivise other forms of content. M+ers are forced to do a bunch of delves for the first 2-3 weeks of the season, but we have the luxury of dropping that content, which delvers don't. There's always going to be a vocal...
April 23, 2025 at 7:37 AM
Yeah, definitely sucks. The vault slots would have to be shared or something, with loot tables dependent on the content you did, I guess. Wouldn't be against that.
April 23, 2025 at 7:11 AM
I hear you, I respect your stance on m+, but if I'm incentivised to do 8 delves per week for vault as a mythic pluser, my will to live will be instantly vaporised

It's very simple, the median person is wrong.

Seem to remember Fukuyama's The End of History and the Last Man touches on this
