It would have been up to the democrats as long as they still had power to change the law/constitution in ways that could have prevented the appointment of Hitler as Reichskanzler.

Putting Hitler in the position as Reichskanzler by Hindenburg was up to that point perfectly in line with the laws and constitution of the Weimar Republic. Later after 1945 Germany tried exectly because of that to correct these flaws in the Weimar Constitution.

Interessant finde ich aber, dass man am Ende inhaltlich das gleiche in psychiatrischen Kliniken vom Fachpersonal zu hören kriegt. Tagesklinik. Sie schaffen es nicht frisch geduscht jeden Tag um viertel vor 8 auf der Matte zu stehen. Herr XXX, sie brauchen mehr Disziplin (Oberschwester)! ...

Wenn der jetzt noch die Lebenszeit Erkrankungsrate nimmt .. also jeden der irgendwann mal psychisch Krank war ....
