Josie home, stitches out. Dr said she's healed up perfectly fine to go back to her full activity.
I'll still take ball and walks a bit slow a few more weeks just in case, but other than some check ins every four months just in case she should be all good.

Post op jacket letting us take the cone off has been a huge help.
She can sleep in her little cozy corner spots without it messing up her neck now.
After tonight just 6 more days then stitches out and she'll get a lot more freedom back.
I'm still stressing constantly though.

We usually at after dinner every night, so once I finish eating she looks at me with her usual bright excited face. Until she realizes no its more resting, and gives the defeated grumpy face. Then sometimes tries to have a tantrum.

Much better sleep tonight. And Josie waited all the way until 6am to steal my bed spot while I went pee. Progress.

Josie is home. Surgery went fine. She's doing good, just groggy and stressed. Has a lot of pills to take and two weeks of recovery. Still waiting on lab results.
I'd share the pic of her stitches but good lord lol this poor dog.
