We need to change how this is being discussed:

Even people with criminal records shouldn’t be subjected to cruel and unusual punishment, slavery, rape, torture, etc.

It wouldn’t be any better or more justified if they *all* had criminal records.

Stimulus checks are a relatively small/temporary amount of cash compared to what Trump is trying to steal from people.

More important for economy:

-Not firing thousands of people

-Not cutting Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid/SNAP

-Not taxing Americans w/ tariffs

-Not crashing stock market

Agreed, things are absolute shit right now (& will get way worse).

But there’s no reason for Dems to put their stamp of approval on any of it.

The GOP needs to get full credit for cutting people’s Medicaid & Social Security, Democrats should not be contributing to this insidious effort *at all*.

And we probably won’t be able to get accurate numbers on those deaths from the Trump admin.

So there’s nothing to hold them accountable for their murders, unless we find alternative ways to get that data.

But we also saw how numbers were erased by red states during COVID, i.e. Florida. Ugh.
