Nope... Mr.S wasn't around that long ago.

I'm the mid 80's they were operating out of a P.O. Box in NYC and a storefront in Florida under a different name; back then, Richard Hunter, aka Mr.S, had the North American distribution rights to Fetters UK, which was run by Jim Steward in the UK.

Cute puppy... but his trainer/owner needs to lock that cage properly; the lock is only attached to the frame, not the door, and the lock-body isn't big enough to not slip through the gap. An escapologist husky like me can get out of there without even working up a sweat. 🐕 😁

Glad you're all safe.

It's a tragedy that the building collapsed and caused loss of life. 😞 It happened right across the street from the Chatuchak Weekend Market, which is where we usually spend a couple hours when we visit.

Since the quake shut down most of Bangkok for the rest of the day, we never made it to @forfunbangkok.bsky.social during this trip, but it'll definitely be on the agenda for next time.

It was an interesting visit for sure.

When the quake happened at around 1:20pm, we were in the process of checking into our next hotel suite; our previous hotel had us on the 50th floor... glad we already checked out. 😲

This is Bangkok's BTS sky train rocking back and forth at a station during the earthquake. Imagine if it were running between stations on the elevated rails.

Unlike Myanmar, where thousands died, Thailand has better building standards, so damage was mostly relatively minor.

The vibrations are so severe that it causes tall buildings to shake, causing rooftop pools to overflow and pour down the sides of the buildings.

The above video was a tragic event. Several workers died when the building under connection collapsed around them. It's located right across the street from the weekend market that we always go to. If the quake had happened on the weekend, we may very well have been across the street from this.

Damnit... so close. Spending time with my husband's family all day, so can't stop today. Will try to drop by sometime in the next couple days.

I just missed this by a few days. 😞
We were in Chiang Rai and only got to Bangkok a couple days ago.

Would have been nice to attend the ThaiTails FurCon. Not sure I could have brought my full fursuit due to luggage restrictions, but would have been in my ForFun suit & gear. Maybe next year.
