I went to my husband’s uncle’s funeral, and we all did the Hokey Pokey at the end! (He was an educator, started as a traveling P.E. teacher) It was the best service I’ve ever been to!

I was taught to try and engage as many of your senses as possible. Focus on something, listen, touch, smell, taste, etc. I kept a tiny vial of lavender oil in my bag, which is supposed to help calm you. (My husband is my greatest helper, he just holds my hand and says, “I got you, baby!”)

We adopted a female German Shepherd as a companion to our 2 year old male GSD. When she wanted to get on the couch where he was, she would look around for a toy and play with it. She knew he would go after the toy, and jump off the couch so she could sit by me!

I found out that Henry Hill had lived in Omaha, where I’m from. Didn’t know it until after he died, but it was a cool fact to learn. 😀

Dan, I immediately thought of your advice when watching “One Thing After Another” with Leonardo DiCaprio. He was crawling in a tunnel hit with tear gas, and washed his eyes out in a sink. 🤣

Ack! We had mice in 2020, they were all over the town. My husband found one in the bathtub, we heard them in the walls, it was awful! Good luck to you!

My mom introduced us to Star Trek, we all watched it from the beginning! I remember being so excited when my sociology teacher had us watch “Tomorrow is Yesterday” in class and write a paper on it, in 1984! 😁
