Optimistic.
This needs to be a chant Danny. Claim it back!

I’m in the same boat, have two boys, oldest has followed me and supported spurs, youngest recently asked for a Brighton kit.

I think they should be more hench. Like bouncers

The Poch Aston Villa game comparison even more appropriate now. Massive half of football for Frank

It’s mad isn’t it. Be angry, shout and scream in the moment but then you have to try to pick the player up. Having Alan smith loving it adds insult to injury

I’m no fan of Levy. But seems like the delay was Palace wanting him to play tomorrow? Sad truth is Eze is an Arse fan. Let him go down that hole. We move on

England players have a good feel for the Headingley pitch, they know what’s possible batting last. Pundits not often wrong in cricket but this shows it’s hard to understand that dressing room belief from the outside

The negativity we experience day in day out will cause a ground swell of emotion. The lid will firmly fly off and it will be the biggest release of joy experienced in a generation of supporting this wonderful club. #COYS

For all the negativity around us, the people willing us to lose. The journalists licking their lips at being able to write Spursy. There will be a counter to that when we win. Whether it’s tonight or next year or years later. Winning with Tottenham will mean more.

But the word coming out of the Tottenham camp all week has been opportunity. This is an opportunity to change the path of the club. An opportunity to change the narrative, albeit briefly. An opportunity to give unbridled joy to the fans. Because here’s the thing. Spurs are a club like no other.

The wannabes, Villa, Newcastle, hate us cause we’ve jumped over them to be in the that big 6. So whenever we play there is a lot of emotion around the result. Lose and a big part of the country is happy. Pundits love it too, as it upholds their entrenched views of the game. It’s only Tottenham. 3/6
May 21, 2025 at 8:30 AM
Tottenham are a club that have arguably more emotion around it than most. Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham all have us as their main rivals. Weird little clubs like Southampton and Leicester also take issue with us. The rest of the so called big 6 look down on us. 2/6

A performance to be proud of. Courageous. Still playing for the badge. Maddison’s contribution for the goal a great example for all!

So good to feel proud of the team again. A performance full of courage. Optimised by Maddison’s role for the goal

Im gutted too. Still not quite there with Ange out. Love a story teller and he had me believing. Still hoping for the redemption!

You make it sound easy. We never win there. Thought we could have nicked a draw which would have been harsh on Chelsea but great for us. It wasn’t terrible imo. Players back for another game ahead of Frankfurt. All still to play for
