UPDATE: Here is an overview of frames per maximum for the last few seasons on the Main Tour.

So far this season there have been 16 maximums in 8,624 frames. That's one maximum per 539 frames. If this rate continues there will be appr 31 maximums this season.

Chang Bingyu made a 147 in frame 7 of his match against Stephen Maguire in the UK Championship qualifiers.

It's the first of his career and the 233rd in pro snooker. It's the record 16th of the season.

It was his third century of the match!

Round One of qualifying in the UK Championship is done.

32 players advanced to the next round where they will play seeds 49-80.

5 of the 18 amateurs won and two of the four women.

14-year-old Michal Szubarczyk defeated Jimmy White (63).
