One thing I like about autumn: it's nice for driving around in. Sunroof open, windows down, cruising.

I used to have an app that auto-created contacts from IM, Email, and Social Media and hooboy that was a mistake. So many contacts of people I emailed 15-20 years ago. Cleaning up, I've gone from over 1000 down to 700 and I've only gone through half my contacts.

"theme-color" no longer works on OS26. It seems to style the address bar and tabs based on web site background color.

One of these is a heading. One is a list item. And one is actionable. I feel like there should be more affordability to make this clear.

I’m not minding iOS26 so far, although there’s some UI changes that I’ll need to get used to that I’ve stumbled on. Slowly updating all my devices to ‘26.

Doing some digital gardening today. In particular, pruning accounts and passwords. Closing accounts where I can, resetting passwords where I should.

Since Mr Black coffee liqueur isn’t available here in Ontario, I have 4 different bottles of coffee liqueurs as I tried to find something that hit the right spot. Now it’s taking forever to go through them all. Lots of espresso martinis and White Russians in my future. (Made with Ukrainian vodka)

I have a plethora of devices I've acquired over the years. Before I get rid of them, I need to make sure I've cleared off all my data and it's such a pain when the hardware is just on the edge of failure.

I am oddly okay with horrible ads because I know they are ads and I will never buy their products. I don’t want ad platforms to learn what I actually like and show me ads for things I might want to buy.

At coffee shop, guy asked me to watch his stuff while he stepped out to take a call. I’ve since finished my coffee and he’s still not back. Now what? Have I been bequeathed his stuff? Is there a reasonable timeout period like a parking spot?

I have a bunch of house projects to get done and waiting on other people for every single one of them. Somewhat frustrating.
