Genuine question, and I’m sorry if you’ve covered this before, but if Hoyo were to sign the NAVA AI Rider would that set more of a legal precedent here in the U.S.? I know Union lawyers probably wouldn’t get involved but it seems like a way to guarantee AI protection for ALL Hoyo VAs.

Because the recording studios are in California and thus do business there, they would be subject to AB 2602. Considering Hoyo began moving to SIDE global in Jan, if all the present VAs are being moved over there, their contracts should already include the AI protections.

OK, I will concede. I did not know that Hoyoverse is not subject to the same laws as Mihoyo. That still doesn’t change the fact that AB 2602 exists and it’s still really l shady for all the union VAs to now try and strong arm Hoyo into making Genshin union when they themselves broke their own rules

Makes sense, I love how they tried accusing me of only getting my info from Youtubers when a month before all of this blew up I was actually reading the interim agreement because I wanted to know why characters were still muted since I thought the issue was about Formosa.

According to SAG-AFTRA’s own website just by being Fi-Core, you’re labeled a scab. Not to mention, Corina herself has called herself a scab.

Considering her whole demeanor has been colored in condescension and hostility about the strike, it’s easy to slip into assuming she’s being hostile or at the very least indifferent to Erika’s plight. Especially with Erika expressing distaste for SAG and the strike.

What clarification is the one that you just pulled out of your freaking ass? Not even Khoi or Joe are able to clarify the situation. They all just keep skirting around the issue because they know there’s no guarantee if Genshin becomes Union that NU actors will be protected.

No, I read the freaking contracts on SAG-AFTRA’s site. I got curious because originally I thought that once Formosa was ousted everything would be back to normal and then wondered why everyone was still mute. This is SAG trying to strong arm Hoyo into becoming union project.

Corina and other union VAs already get paid Union rates. They all have protection again AI since AB 2602 was passed not to mention it’s against the law in China, where Hoyo is based. The only thing they’re protesting is that Genshin isn’t a union project which isn’t Hoyo’s problem.

First of all I’ve been supporting the strike and voicing that support on Twitter and in every patch survey since August. Secondly this is my first time responding to any of Corina’s posts. And telling a VA to not be such a hypocrite and a prick to her fellow VA is not harassment.

I wouldn’t even care about her scabbing if she just kept her mouth shut and stopped being so vitriolic to fans and now other VAs. It’s like she’s trying to get the entire fandom to hate her. There was so much support for the strike before people began attacking Jacob.
