This series is special. Each picture radiates such wonder and love. I really mean it when I say this is one of the best advent calendars *and* some of the best furry art ever. Every single piece fills me with warmth and Christmas spirit. Thank you for sharing these and Merry Christmas!

Wow! That's great! I got myself one five years ago and still enjoy it every time I pick it up! Fujifilm is great! And there are great lenses to use with them (both Fujifilm and third party ones).
And film simulations are fun and practical if you don't enjoy post-processing or don't have time for it

This. When I was a teenager, I had a couple intrusive questions fueled by the horrific divorce of my parents. Religious and superstitious talk made me go "I can't prove this thought won't become real", leading me down a road to a OCD-spiral of negative reinforcement whenever I was very overwhelmed.

It also ignores how some things are made facts because we feel them. Like pain, exhaustion, happiness .... and gender identity. And then they try to create a false opposition between them and facts that have nothing to do with feelings. (Also... dysphoria does not care if we want it; it's a fact.)

I agree! But that is not the perspective of power. Mainstream porn that serves (pun intended) the patriarchal, male gaze POV usually takes the POV of the fantasy of oppression and ownership and not that of emotions or learning. Hence the whole "Are you a white man or are you a porn category" quip.

Which is also a false and impractical view of having ideas. Ideas and their execution generate each other; dividing them weakens both sides. Many ideas are born from an impasse during execution, just as many techniques are born to make ideas possible.

(and the exercise surely would work with Tarot, too, is what I am trying to say: Tarot need not be about divination but its inherent ambiguity is fun and interesting for so many reasons. I really want to use my deck more.)

I like Tarot, too - Tarot is a condensed collection of archetypes, psychological states, and multilayered imagery. This reminds me, at uni a professor once had us choose three postcards from a deck and interpret the group's meaning; it was a very interesting exercise.

Same. Well, not my new year's resolution but I can't come home each day and chase resolve and euphoria only to get discouraged the next day.
All I do is be alone in the fantasy of my transitioned self. I guess I needed that for a while but long-term, it's not a good state to be in.
