Drivability diag is always a challenge. Moreso for a 40 y/o economy car being daily driven.
Gonna have to bust out the scope and check some signals when it gets warmer; Suspecting an intermittently dodgy ICM when heat-soaked. It did come with the rockauto reman distributer after all.

It might be worth it to look into cellular options. I use T-Mobile Home internet for 65/mo, unlimited 5G data.

Microcode sequencer/counter designed, control lines hooked up. Now just to determine the control sequences and write the microcode ROM. Then trim the microcode counter to an appropriate size for the number of steps per instruction...😅

Tested and refined, my ALU should come out to around 225 relays. Next up is the program counter and beginning stages of the microcode control sequencing.

After looking everything over and deciding on latches to be used, I have determined that my ALU is buildable with somewhere around 250 relays. Should sound lovely if it ever comes to fruition.
