I'm very very curious what's going on with them. Their history is so interesting, especially after Microsoft bought them
Also, I've just picked up avowed and am maybe 10 hours in and wow I adore this, I'm so annoyed people bash it for not being Skyrim or whatever

Are they speculated to be low? I thought Nvidia has just been going up and up and making a gazillion dollars. Is there anything to suggest they won't? Or is it more that there's always a chance they go down and if it does, things go bad?

Yeah honestly it's tough sometimes. Past even wanting to play the games (duh) there's also just being able to afford and support them. There's so many games from small teams or solo devs or whatever that I'd love to buy but just can't. Too many games to buy 😭

Yeah having them come out once a week for 4 weeks total (a month) is such a great strategy that Im surprised telltale never tried this themselves. I guess TV was different back then but especially in 2025, it almost feels like the perfect time for it to exist, it kinda hit at the right moment?

Adding to this, I didn’t gel immensely but I did like a lot more… curse of the golden idol. That deduction, even if i was garbage at it, was much more my speed even if Obra Dinn is still just such a cool way of connecting threads

How obra dinn esque is it? I wanted to like obra dinn so much but I just can’t do the logic that demanded of me, especially with sounds. I did adore blue prince (#3 for goty this year) so hoping I like this but idk. Also, what’s Sleep No More?

It's funny because by the time I actually beat it, I hadn't done it often. I just took a long break after trying it's boss. But I came back and beat it in under 5 tries which is nice
The mist is funny because I actually had a theory based on other bits and gasped happily when it paid off

That's alright, the trailer they showed and what I've seen so far looks lovely though i haven't seen much of any mystery yet so I'm hopeful that'll be cool. I really liked the way it's one big mystery with like... 10 smaller chunky ones that all flow into the big one eventually

I cannot get enough of my steam deck (I have an oled but lcd is fine too) . It is probably my favorite gaming technology... Ever. It's basically a switch but beefier in specs and feels better to hold. I adore it, 10/10, I'm getting the steam deck '2' or whatever day 1

I was able to get to at least partway through the second major area before I gave up. I was terrible at it but it was an incredible game and I will play it somehow, someday

I'm also just not a huge fan of that mega violence. It can sometimes work sure, absolutely, but I guess I like it in more of a 'reason to' past 'I'm strong and do what I want'. Similarly, never been able to get into mortal kombat, the graphic gore is just... Too Damn much. I don't wanna see it 😅

It's funny, I don't usually boycott games but I feel like... Idk, with how messy the situation is, and how much of it seems to be on za/um... I don't think I'll be getting this. But I will be curious to hear people's thoughts who do. I may not get it but it still has a right to exist

I've been playing on the steam deck and normally I have no issues... But lemme tell you, my thumb started really starting to get a weird pain and now I've realized I gotta do hand stretches now. It's funny how that goes

It's a shame the combat seems a bit meh but past that it sounds like a real good time. Happy to see silent hill "be back" with both the 2 remake and now a actual good new silent hill that shakes things up but is stilll a good time

People are just so damn stuck in their ways, especially with tabletop stuff. There's so many cool wild fun systems and books and such but people just... Idk, are too scared to try em? It's so silly to me and frustrating too. Like I'm not gonna bash 5E but it's not the bestest best for everyone...

It's one of those rare games that I can say yes, it's absolutely worth the hype and it's an incredible time. These kinds of games just... Don't happen anymore
