I'd like it explained to me why the police's decision is wrong when it's been made to protect people.

This "Labour" government isn't Labour at all. The Labour Party as I knew it from the age of Harold Wilson to Corbyn, barring Blair, no longer exists.

McSweeney, who voted for him? Starmer won't sack him as he knows he'll be taken down if he does.

If these are the main reasons people were turning away from Labour to Reform, then I have to ask what these people think Reform will do about WFA, PIP and the benefit cap.

The problem the Labour Party has is the alienation of their core voters. No longer are Labour the party of the working class. Instead of pandering to the whims of ex tories and reform supporters the leadership should sort out NHS, Europe and industries of national importance, water, energy etc.

Couldn't agree more, but how do you convince them to change when most Labour mps, including my own, won't vote against them.

Labour backbenchers now have to stand up to the leaders and tell them NO, otherwise Labour, as a party, are going the same way as the tories, into oblivion.

You may be a Labour politician Clive but, unfortunately, the Labour Party no longer are Labour. I'm a life long supporter of 66years but can't see myself voting for them again whilst the upper echelons of the party see fit to implement these policies.

The Labour Party is no longer the party I once knew. Labour in name only.

The sooner the Labour Party disassociate itself from Starmer and his sycophantic followers the better.

Labour in name only these days I'm afraid. Gone are the days of Labour being a socialist party.

With you all the way.

What about listening to the people who voted you in and deliver on your manifesto.

Probably because the Greens, especially, are a far more socialist party than Labour are now.

The talent they've attracted so far isn't exactly the creme de la creme is it.

Been a Labour supporter all my life but the present incumbents at the head of the party bear no resemblance whatsoever to the party I once knew.

Until somebody is actually held to account, the public will find it difficult to have any faith in the commissioner.
