Oh, so you’re actually delusional? That’s not remotely what I said. I watched it in a room full of local party officials, and we were all worried at how badly Biden did (because we have eyes and ears). Anything beyond that is pure paranoid fantasy on your part

Spare me, issue in that debate was not the stutter he’s had his entire career (“Bidenisms”).
Also, interesting that mixing up words is not listed on the Mayo Clinic website or described at all as a symptom? But then surely you wouldn’t just make shit up? 🫢🤪🙃

You seem to having a glaring typo in this article that should be fixed as soon as possible.

Hey Senator, as Trump continues to defy a unanimous 9-0 Supreme Court ruling, where is the extraordinary action you promised when he crossed that red line?

Their seemingly genuine fury makes me think they’re sincere—and evidently incredulous to a humiliating degree

Trump’s defying the Supreme Court order, we’ve crossed your rubicon, what extraordinary actions will Senate Democrats now take to oppose this anti-constitutional fascism?
April 15, 2025 at 7:42 PM
Nice letter but now that we’ve crossed your rubicon, what extraordinary actions will Senate Democrats now take to oppose this anti-constitutional fascism?

I’m generally sympathetic to your point—however, I think the review actually does a good job clarifying that the issue isn’t Viola Davis’s portrayal of the POTUS, but rather the broader context of the film’s release. See, e.g.,

Seems like it could be quite sticky

Uhhh putting USAID “through the wood chipper” is likely to kill 3+ million people a year my guy: www.nytimes.com/interactive/...
March 18, 2025 at 4:01 AM
Yeah, unilaterally choosing to pursue cuts likely to kill 3+ million people a year is pretty universally condemnable under, well, any moral or ethical framework Elon…

Someone needs to come clean—do they only have one type of “man’s face” in Poland?

This list is like 80% eminently reasonable 20% dumbest shit imaginable. “The consultant class thinks we should embrace moneyed elites to win back the heartland, what could go wrong?!”

If you’ve not been you should absolutely check out Museo del Novecento. Amazing collection and great view of the piazza

Openly Caesarist politics from a sitting member of Congress is bad (if not wholly unexpected at this point), but the gleeful historical ignorance is what makes it impressively grim

It’s darkly funny that this dude completely predicted your response. I work in LGBTQ+ advocacy, where it’s recognized there are some genuinely difficult issues around e.g. minors transitioning — but the tenor, scope, & frequency of coverage on the issue from centrists was a clear moral panic
February 16, 2025 at 7:36 PM
As someone actually committed to expanding the left’s power and influence in the Democratic Party, this type of BS infuriates me. Defining leftism purely as opposition to Democrats isn’t radical—it’s reactionary, clout-chasing, and morally bankrupt. Pathetic people engaging in destructive politics!

Therefore, it is simply objectively false to say Reagan and Obama occupy the same ideological space. Simply compare their policy programs & party ideologies and it can be clearly demonstrated that Dems are center-left & GOP hard-right compared parties in peer nations.

@brianbeutler.bsky.social a real giveaway here is that program cuts to LAFD that partially driving this narrative actually included cuts to equity & inclusion and Human Resources programs and personnel. There are fair criticisms for local leaders… but they are not the ones coming from the right
January 11, 2025 at 8:12 PM
Also the budget cuts to specific departments LAFD that have gotten so much attention? They included cuts to equity & inclusion and HR programs
January 11, 2025 at 8:07 PM
Also the cuts to specific LAFD programs and positions folks are ascribing causation to? They include equity and Human Resources personnel 🙃

I’ve honestly been making a pretty narrow point this whole time…and even been aggressively and painfully consistent. See e.g.

I’m not sure how you could read this stuff and conclude Garland made this the highest priority and that he pursued it with maximum power and authority available. Again, doesn’t even mean his approach was wrong, just that it clearly was not the most aggressive available strategy…
