I’ve tried building similar systems and the complexity of these things goes off the charts.
Doing it right and well is something you should be proud of!

We attempted to use Jiff recently at work. It was really pleasant to use on its own, but a lot of the crates ecosystem just expects you to be using chrono, which made a lot of things cumbersome when using Jiff
