While I’m, personally, not a fan of the retro rocket ship nacelles (they seem a stark and strange contrast against the more angular structured sleekness of the rest of the ship) this design is really freaking cool.

The costs are arbitrary these days. They throw absurd budgets at these shows instead of being judicious.

I want to say I saw a video where Baumgartner used a technique not dissimilar to how that AI tool works. It didn’t require AI (IIRC) but worked very similarly.

Considering there is a Mac version of the Figma Desktop app, it surprises me that it couldn’t be easily run in Linux since they use the same kernel.

That is a matter of opinion. I personally dislike every uniform design established in Disco. SNW and Lower Decks are the only exceptions, imho.

I’m no developer but I’m being asked to make things code-related things happen when my employer doesn’t want to hire more engineers. It helps me to make something happen but I always caveat the work because like you said. I have to do shit over and over to make it work. It’s unfortunate.
