We must keep telling the truth. We must keep shining a light on this system.

Because of your support, the federal case is now closed—and we won. S.R.C. Is safe! But the larger fight for justice is far from over.

There are other children in foster care facing forced removals and violations of their rights, and most won’t have the press or legal backing to protect them.

This outcome only happened because we fought back—publicly and legally.

Let’s be clear: this reversal did not come voluntarily. The state acquiesced under pressure. And while they may want to quietly move on from this, we will not be silent—because this is not an isolated case.

S.R.C. was scheduled to be placed on a plane by DCF, a state agency entrusted with the care and protection of our most vulnerable children, to Guatemala—in direct violation of her constitutional rights. Thanks to your support, that will not happen!

She could be taken without a trial or due process. A stay is pending.

📣 We've raised $31K of $50K for legal fees. Please share.

Friends, acquaintances, and complete strangers have shown up to say:
Children in foster care matter. Their voices matter.

This support means real movement forward. Legal work is continuing, and there is renewed hope that this child’s rights will be protected and respected.

We urgently need to raise $25,000 for legal expenses to protect S.R.C. and fight for every American child in foster care at risk of disappearing into this broken system. Please donate and share.

We are fighting to stop this illegal and dangerous removal through federal court. This isn’t just about S.R.C.
It’s about the hidden pipeline where U.S. foster children—many traumatized, many citizens—are removed from the country without federal oversight, custody orders, or protection.
