Low-level coding. Retro games. DIY synths. May contain traces of cringe. of-ony not o'phony.
Maybe with some alternate keycaps?
I was thinking about MIDI and a terminal sequencer for my rc2014 (currently packed away from moving) but a self-contained(-ish) box might be fun too.

The only good thing about a sound bar might be that you don't notice how bad the audio quality from streaming services is.

On some level it's impressive what audio processing can fake but yeah, I'm glad for my (DIY) surround speakers.

Neat, there's an update to use the onboard USB host and get rid of the flying wiring. Still need MIDI (I should really learn KiCAD for that) and a case/keyboard...

Success. Helps that spare parts are readily available. And it retained our favorites...

Of course in total now it would have been cheaper to just buy a new machine last year (with guarantee...) but whatever...

I remember being super disappointed with the AdLib and my Amiga friends laughing at the cheesy demos.
Don't know what I was expecting, but a Synclavier it wasn't...

Oh wow, haven't thought about that in a long time.
A lot of my university courses were taught in Smalltalk...

Heh, I still might have a boxed copy of the parody version where the toasters get shot at.

I kind of miss screen savers, not just because I made some cash writing a couple of game-related ones.

Oh wow, I had totally forgotten about that.

I lack the CAD skills but that would be a cool way to package the MiSTeryNano ST emulator I have somewhere (still need to build the MIDI interface).

Seems in good shape and complete (instructions and all) but I haven't tried it yet. Thankfully the batteries were removed, hopefully nothing inside has leaked.

I assume it was my grandfather's but I don't recall how or when it made its way from Canada to Europe...

The Town That Went Feral
When a group of libertarians set about scrapping their local government, chaos descended. And then the bears moved in.

Auto-translated anything is the bane of my multi-lingual existence. Enabled by default with no option for users to turn it off? Ay, no es bueno!

At least he didn't call Trudeau governor again, that's progress?
Although I also wouldn't have been surprised if he'd gone straight to "failing governor Trudeau" or similar either.
