It’s my birthday so it would be an amazing gift from the #BlueJays to extend Vlad or sign Alonso (or both?) today!

Glad the Blue Jays finally closed the deal on Santander who helps fill our biggest need, power. He’s bringing bombs back into the Jays lineup and I’m so excited. More moves coming I hope.

Don’t really know what our chances for signing Sasaki are but I’m glad the Blue Jays are trying at least. Shouldn’t cost much so doesn’t take us out of the race for some power bats either. I don’t have high expectations that he will sign with us but it would be an amazing move.

Love the Hoffman signing for the #BlueJays. Not overly concerned about the shoulder issues Baltimore was worried about, considering he passed our physical and Baltimore still wanted to sign him just under an adjusted deal. Great move that will beef up our bullpen and fills the closer role.

Watched Nosferatu this week and it was so good that I went home and watched The Witch the same night. Gonna watch the Northman and The Lighthouse next, but it’s become clear I was sleeping on Eggers. He creates such a strong sense of dread with camerawork alone.
