In light of today's UK "Supreme" Court ruling:
Trans women are *women* and deserve to be protected, not isolated and excluded.
Acting like excluding them is somehow adding to your own protections as a woman is not only stupid, it's dangerous. We need to be standing together.

Saw the scraggliest pigeon (guessing pretty juvenile) trying to eat some berries in a tree. Still young and goofy so it was 50:50 whether or not the berries went down the gullet or landed on the ground.

Got home from the school Winter Cafe to find my partner watching what I can only describe as "that time Time Team did the Stanford prison experiment"... Haven't seen the whole episode, and apparently there is some of the usual loveliness, but ...what?

Took a walk last Sunday and found a good tree. Possibly three or four trees originally, but now just a big gnarled guy with a huge almost horizontal branch sticking out over a little drop. Eevee and Vaporeon would have had a seat, but The Child would not have been impressed if they fell.
A small stuffed Eevee and smaller Vaporeon being held by a hand in a fingerless glove in front of a chunky tree sticking out over a large patch of ivy that's growing up over a tree in the background to the right. There's a waterway in the background with some newish housing beyond.
