We picked up a used Impreza for Ing to take to school, and it’s the lowest car we have had in years (we drive outback/foresters, this is lower than a crosstrek) and wow are the headlights of others obnoxious! (Big truck at the grocery parking lot last night is typical for driving around)

There is a difference between "catastrophic" plans and HDHPs. I have employer healthcare and the math always works out in favor of the HDHP+HSA But... it's still huge numbers and a massive percentage of my gross income. BCS= Prem-HSA,WCS = BCS+OOPM-HRA.

I had to dig around, but I firmly believe the reason MTG is suddenly speaking out about healthcare is bc her own kids just aged off her plan, and she is realizing the mountains our kids are facing. From Politico: www.politico.com/news/magazin... makes her kids 28, 26, 22 now.

LOL, when the health care "decision tool" tells you to do something that is literally not possible (and yes, those are our new deductibles - health care costs are not rising for JUST ACA plans, friends!)

My 19yo just had surgery and as she was coming out of anesthesia she noticed her pulse was 67 and groggily said “take a pic… sixxx sevveeen”

4/ and now Jinx is extra clingy, and lonely- last night I was last to bed and he ran across the room and then looked behind him, looking for Taco to chase him like they have forever- and of course, no Taco followed. 😭

3/ Taco was pretty skittish but Willa was his girl (Jinx is pretty bonded to me), so it was devastating for this to be her first run in with loss and death

2/ we got Jinx and Taco in January of 2017, a direct response to the election, we needed joy and the bonded pair of brothers were 18 mos old and a great addition to our family (Jinx is the tuxedo)
