Went to the @wichitalibrary.bsky.social the other day to find some books with my 8-year-old and I’m happy to report that this book didn’t make either of us suddenly become transgendered.

(Note: We have this book at home, too. It’s had like three years to work its voodoo and…nothing has happened.

And a much shorter delay when the splash screen is cleared off almost immediately.

@mscroggs.co.uk // I think there may be an issue with today’s puzzle? Either I’m really not understanding the question or something’s up. There are no 9x9 blocks within a 5x5, but also if it’s supposed to be 3x3 (a 9-block square), it appears the red shading accomplishes it in just 5 squares. ??

My kid loved this book so much when he was like 6.
