I was so excited to get my car inspected because the check engine light wasn’t on this time. Only for my mechanic to say “Your check engine light isn’t on bc the bulb burned out”. 😩🥴 🤦♀️

Agreed! I don’t know if, as a child growing up in the 80’s & 90’s I was just naive, but it sure seemed like back then, even though racism, wyt supremacy & patriarchy were pervasive, there was a general consensus to see/treat others with dignity & humanity compared to today.
