Unfortunately most companies have been moving away from it for quite a while now. Ownership is something we all willingly let slip away when we didn't have to, which is too bad.

I was just talking with friends about this the other day. I've been wary about it from the beginning, but the aggression over the last five years in particular from every company under the sun trying to throw shade at local storage and hosting relative to cloud-hosting did not go unnoticed by me.
