Another economic thought, the amount of amazon packages in the entryway of my apartment building has dropped substantially. Are people buying less things, or have they simply realized that Amazon is a bastion of evil?

I can tell the economy is in trouble because my local Chinese spot is packed for the lunch special while every other restaurant nearby is empty. The deal can’t be beat and the food is incredible, so maybe everyone just figured out that life is better with a little sesame chicken.

Reading the New York Times yesterday morning and came across this quote:

“No hospital will buy an A.I. widget that means their revenue goes down. There’s no market for that.”

Revenue going down in this case is caused by less sick people. How can a healthcare system promote sickness?
