I would look around online!!! I play with a group of friends I’ve known for like 6+ years, but I think there are subreddits/forums dedicated to helping people find players! Maybe the discord server search too? Just find a small community that will help you learn!

This is FoundryVTT! We used roll20 for a while, but foundry is really nice for the ruleset we use!!! We actually play with the 2nd edition of foundry! I would look into it for sure!!!
