We work for a floating snake as the world is bombed to rubble, but find that's not the whole story. Redhero is a 2007 game by Soup42 telling the story of the titular RedHero, Red. The world is being destroyed by the gods, and we must collect orbs of power for our friend Flowen in order to restore the world once it is gone, but the bombing and the destructable terrain makes this more difficult than it may first appear. The game has an engaging story, fun gameplay, and is a forgotten gem that I keep going back to even over 15 years after its initial release.
