This is something that scares me now that indie games are more popular than ever, that some ideas get rejected of fear or being too risky.
We are Indies we are supposed to be risky, do things that the big leagues don't dare to do.

In conclusion, an overlooked game that now had a small resurgence with the rise of boomer shooters.
It's probably not as technically impressive as the classic games of ID software, but it's a game full of charm . Highly recommend. (4/4)

Chasm was developed by the Ukrainian studio Action Forms in 1997. They didn't have the advanced technology that ID had, but it's impressive what they managed to do with what they had. The game is full 3D with dismemberment mechanics, something that Quake doesn't have. (3/4)

If Quake is Doom but 3d then Chasm is Wolfenstein with more 3D. Everything occurs in the same plane and there is little to no verticality, although there is some platforming here and there. (2/4)

But the true strength of this game lies in its aesthetic, every level is full of small details that add to the world building. (3/3)

Hrot unlike other boomer shooters has a much slower pace, although this doesn't mean that the game is lacking on fast encounters. (2/3)
