living under a rock, making art when i can
I wonder if it thought it was crawling under a big rock and that the under-the-door gap would just keep going?

After so many necromancers, it was the embalmer that finally make my brain connect all this stuff to Dai Dark/Dorohedoro 👍

I'm not surprised to hear that a Deathstalker movie is motivating your fantasy-setting feelings. I haven't seen DS2 in particular but I hope you share your drawings.

reminds me of the ending of Monkeybone, a totally normal scene to leave a lasting impression on me youtu.be/JMvUa4Xla7g?...

We’d love to see you talk about how you get things done. Comics or chores. The part of me that fronts for unwanted socializing is burned out (time in retail job), so the strongest hand on my wheel isn’t interested in time management. Making art falls behind tidying which falls behind meal prep, etc.

lots of people willing to come in here and comment with their excuses. but putting things like Star Wars and Aliens under the umbrella of a kid-friendly for-kids entertainment company did happen, and people ignore it so they can feel like they're paying 'for star wars' instead of paying disney.

you wouldn't find it in star wars lore because it's actually in a tarzan story where he travels to the wookie planet, john carter of mars-style, and he teaches them the tarzan holler then.

I love to see eraser stamps! and it's just blood? if you use something like (Speedball) block printing ink transparent 'extender/medium' you'd have more 'paint' to work with. (and I say 'something like' because there's probably several art supplies that work as alternatives)

yeah they did that (big sigh) I never understood the story behind Lives/Deaths of Wolverine but I remember that www.cbr.com/marvel-secre...
Marvel Reveals the Secret to Xavier's Future is . . . Moby-Dick?!?
While the whale is not named Moby Dick, the aesthetic, timeframe, and look allude to the great whale of the American literary canon.

It has been a kind of exhausting to see awe and reverence of spectacle combined with stories that feel proud of keeping a pot of water boiling for two hours. A confidence of where they will end up that is like a gymnast's routine.

oh, are you reading Fire Punch?

the closest I have ever gotten to this is the sentiment "I'm good friends with one of the people who is rich because of (thing that could be free but isn't) and their life is being ruined."

have you tried "ice milk"? it's different from ice cream (and I didn't see any for sale until I visited relatives in another city.)

ooh it's a Martian from Metal Slug

argh I have such a weak spot for (old) people who are enthusiastic about every single factoid and thing that has ever happened to them. I feel like a grinch, but when each consecutive sentence has no overlap except it happened to them? stfu.

thanks for the comic! it makes my eyes and heart ache but in a welcome and motivational way.
