The only reason I cannot table that as the stupidest question I ever heard is because people are actually asking these days if it’s okay to sleep with teenagers. To that end the answers are the same. No. Hell no. And what the hell is wrong with you no.

The comments also mention needing 2-4 interviews to work entry level jobs at fast food resturaunts. Imagine going through all that time and prep to get a job that pays 11 bucks an hour. its insane. Either we have to put a stop to this nonsense, or yall need to start buying more from freelancers.

there is no purpose for this nonsense aside from forcing them to adhere to your schedule for an overlong period of time, which you are suppose to pay them for. This is a scam, and its ridiculous how many companies think they can get away with it cause people need work.

We could have learned so much from that. We did honestly, but when it came time to test ourselves in 2020 we failed miserably. Still it serves as a fascinating case study on how people react to pandemics

That said though, the fact that you do have an alternative career path is amazing. I’m often looking for others myself. If you can, draw what makes you happy and don’t worry beyond that :)

Luckily nothing has really emotionally drained me, but the stuff people ask for is not always stuff I’m familiar with. I also have rules about what I won’t draw but I often feel I can’t adhere to them too strictly or I’ll lose clients. It’s a rough balance

You know. This is something I’ve dealt with a bit. I ended up taking on art as a career after I lost my previous job, likely due to undiagnosed autism. Yeah I know people say that a lot but it is unfortunately true. I find I have to draw things I never expect

Considering how the book ends, and the fact that that I read it in 2002, I’d be surprised if the movie ends the way the book did ;)

Sim copter. The only game I can think of where you fly around in a helicopter saving people and putting out fires rather than blowing stuff up (though there was an option ;)) all while listening to smooth jazz. Man it was good.
