hello!! sorry for being sad on main and then running away for like probably a few months now um. it's miles's bday and I wanted to post her bday art because I drew it and I'd feel kinda guilty if hers was the only one that didn't get posted/posted on time. happy bday miles!! <3

the process was a bit weird with this one!! basically we had to make a pfp with stuff from around the house that mean something to us -- went with a games/media theme bc it's a games course!
I don't like photo editing so I treated my photo as a sort of sketch stage lol

anyways, I've been working on traditional attacks today and it's been a lot of fun!! I'm not very good at colour matching yet, but there's only one way to get better at it!

from some liiight testing, the jankiest thing seems to just be launching csp? from there, the software seems to hang pretty bad when switching to new tools and opening files, but otherwise it feels more or less fine to draw in I'd say?

I even had a little go at getting Krita set up a while back, because I thought it would be good to learn it as a backup option. and I got it mooost of the way there, but it fell apart at the brush controls panel which is unfortunately pretty important 😔
