I've been getting them since October 1st and we don't even have Thanksgiving here...

(so I fetishise production plants and factories and big machines and romanticise the lives of those in and around them)

while I was studying, I worked as a transcriptionist for a few social history documentaries... stuff like the manufacturing of linoleum in kirkcaldy, the singer sewing machine factory in clydebank, and indeed the building of the forth road bridge... these stories all made a big impact on me

ass-backwards as always; I never did any sort of printmaking in college or art school, only just started trying out screenprinting and riso semi-recently. guess I like working in the super-industrial mass-manufacturing end of things, and then applying what I learn to the small artist scale.
