I feel you pain! Been finding myself listening to more and more audiobooks. But some need to be read not heard. I then sacrifice knitting time to physical reading.

I love my Chiaogoo interchangeable sets, but use either my Lykke driftwood or Lantern Moon Ebony needles for slippery yarn like silk or bamboo blends. I also have Knitters Pride carbons that are a nice mix of the warmth and grip of the carbon and the pointy tips of steel.

I now cover the edges with towels to keep the cats from chewing when I have something blocking. And store in a closet they can’t get into while not is use.

I ask them if they $300 to pay me for materials and my time.

Those work good but really any foam mats work well. I got mine at a hardware store and were intended for home gym type flooring. I had child’s ABC floor mats before my cats chewed them up. Anything you can stick a T-pin in works.

I knit at MLB games. I don’t know how many people have asked for hats when at Fenway Park. At least a couple a game.

I don’t have a full set but do love the three sizes I have and the swivel cables.
