Political break to lift up my baby, graduating early, w/ a 4.0, & awarded Tulsa Public's Senior Spotlight & Superintendent's Scholarship. She'll attend Canada Nat'l Ballet this summer, her final yr of Pre-professional Ballet at Tulsa Ballet this fall, & then a Trainee program (hopefully Nashville)

Medias network's Ben said this a.m... "Democracy Summer is coming". That should be our new mantra, & we should cap it throughout the summer with protests so big they can't get to the boardrooms... everywhere, thick in the streets, holding strong against tyranny, abuse and cruelty.

I am unsure how to help, yet I can't keep watching helplessly, so I signed up through Mobilize w/the OK Dems (to canvas and write postcards) & Power to the People (in hopes of a good protest I can get into). My hubby is worried... I'm just pissed! If anyone's got other ideas, let me know!

After tariffs, Trump will likely try a flat tax rate in lieu of abolishing the tax rate. He can peddle it as a + to those ignorant of how a flat tax adds to the wealth gap. He's just recycling someone else's failed idea of using tariffs as a policy, not a play. Regardless, Billionaires will buy low.

Shea, at Haunted Heart, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, used the elements I gave her to represent my children, and then she did a 4 hour session on my sleeve. She is a phenomenal tattoo artist and artist as a whole. I am thankful to have gotten to be her canvas.

So proud of our Ballerina's National Audition results. Thank you so very much to these schools for their time and consideration ❤️ she has been greatfully offered a scholarship with Canada's National Ballet School for summer session as well. Now I just hope my finances are as reliable as my dancer 🥹

Putin has played Trump exactly how he wanted. Our economy is on it's way to ruins, they've made mockery of our governmental agencies, threatened the judiciary & belittled cabinet roles w/rapists and thugs, put our neighbors in danger, sold out our news institutions and turned every last ally away.

Our dancers have added 10 or so school & senior living performances to their schedule as a way to spread the arts and bring a smile to people that could use one. I am so proud that they would use the very few remaining available hours in their schedule to think of bringing love to their community.

National Auditions are tomorrow for my sweet dancer. We picked up a new Violet leotard, so her name is associative & a bright pair of tights. She's been invited to train in Canada this summer already! We'll see what offers we can manage $ & her dream of an Intensive away might actually happen 🤭🤞

Still snowing here. I'm thinking about California & the suffering globally. It's hard to understand life. I think the whole goal may be the love we show & are shown... & treasuring the victories and memories we make. Therefore, mindfully, I am glad to have time with my family most on this snow day.
