I experienced a similar but less personal “shaming” at the start of my career. I didn’t flat out quit but started the job search and was gone pretty quickly.

My instinct is to agree but upon reflection they need to remain - remain as an example of why autocracy runs counter to American ideals. Make a museum of them to rival the Holocaust Museum.

But doesn’t MAGA by definition not care about “world” outside the US borders? Or Trump’s aspirational borders? What MAGA has lost is that we used to do all that “over there” so we didn’t have to deal with it “here.”

This what MAGA wants, what conservatives before MAGA have been begging for. They were told 10 thousand times why indiscriminately blowing up government in the name of whatever was a bad idea. Now we’re ALL in the “find out” phase.

That’s truth. Hate to say… we need for Trump to run the country all the way into the ditch so MAGA understands better. The evidence needs to be louder than the propaganda before they will believe.

I’ve recently discovered Kim Deal which led me to some Pixies tracks. Do it like that and vocal quality doesn’t matter as much.

In my opinion many MAGA voters will need a lot more personal evidence of this malfeasance—will need to see it hit them personally or someone close to them—before critical thinking begins. Let the orange tyrant keep this up until the evidence overwhelms propaganda.

I’ve heard MAGAts say they are excited about “burning down” all of government. This and other agency closures will hurt in so many ways. I fear MAGA will only understand the consequences when it hurts them in ways propaganda cannot cover up.

That will hurt coverage, IMO. With MPO and FPO collocated one media crew can cover it. That there’s very little MPxx coverage today is my exhibit A.
