Is there a version of this at all that accepts feedback from Patreon -patrons- who don't themselves create? Because the adoption of AI to scrub my favourite artists would certainly make me drop the platform like a radioactive rock.

What the actual fuck. I know terrible people exist and pedo content is hardly news, but why -them-? Why would anyone ever apply something like this to a pairing so absolutely antithetical to everything listed here? What kind of fucked-up mind sees jayvik and thinks -this-?

AI is 100% not necessary. I'd very much prefer if it didn't exist in its current format. But you can rank the things it's used for in order of "bad for everyone" and "bad for mostly just you."

Please, I'm agreeing with you. I have never used AI for anything and never will - I'm just trying to provide another angle into why you shouldn't. What I'm saying is there are applications of AI that I'm willing to not lynch people over, but they're still losing out in that equation.

I know I don't, but I'd be willing to give people a pass if that extra layer of certainty gave them peace of mind. That is, IF AI didn't work the way it does. It's a steep price to pay for something you don't need.

I would honestly not mind if it was just a spellcheck or whatever. But in using AI for that spellcheck, you're throwing everything you wrote at it, to become yet more fodder. It's very much the classic "if you're not paying for it, you're the product."
