Schumer knows something that we don't. If we had shut down the government, it would have been easier for tRump to declare Martial Law, not to mention making it EASIER to shut down agencies. This is too dangerous to let the government be unable to fight for us from within.

From what I understand, President Felon is going to try to call for Martial Law before 4/20/25. If the Government was closed down, we would have no chance of stopping it. So I think Schumer is right.

I think he was right. If the government was shut down, then there was no way to legally stop them from getting rid of the agencies. I know it feels like they are already doing it, but the courts are stepping in and stopping it. We need to focus on winning the next elections, not infighting.

The problem is when you don't have a majority in any branch, then all you have is to let them have enough rope to hang themselves.
