I'm pretty sure that's what it does lol, it's just really slow.
The system partition on iOS is already read only and immutable, macOS does that for updates and I'm fairly sure iOS does too. It's just really fucking slow for some reasons.

It's been a really smooth browser for me so far and I absolutely love the layout it offers, it's especially goated on vertical monitors which I use heavily.
