The leather is full grain veg tan with 4 layers of 4oz leather so it’s pretty sturdy but not uncomfortable. I do condition my leather with a home made conditioner of beeswax, shea butter and castor oil.

Here is a collar I made recently
Dyed with crimson red and navy blue dye to see how it took and to test if it would leave rub off during general wearing.
I have not experienced any rub off from the dye personally and the feel of the leather is really nice.
