For reference, here is a video of me playing modded with a mod to revert the changes, to show that it does indeed work and that newt shrine is also back here. If this was vanilla, this would have been a reset run.

Why did they remove clipping from Risk of Rain 2? Like, actually, it sucks that half my runs are resets because I can no longer make it to Newt shrine stage 1. I'm so glad I found a mod to revert the changes, but like, removing it from the game without implementing failsafes for newt is so bad :/
