The 5th of November may be Guy Fawkes night but it's also the birthday of the protagonist of the Mortal Angel book series, Michelle 'Mickey' Williamson, the once farm girl turned magical empress turned goddess on a centuries-long quest for justice. By my reckoning she should be 336 years old.

Loot I got at London @mcmcomiccon.bsky.social yesterday. Dived in the comic long boxes and bought classic Wonder Woman comics, a What If? Featuring Cap and Bucky and Ultimate Spider-Man 2,3 and 4! Got some DnD dice sets and a deck of many things plus I got my ugly Xmas jumper sorted for this year!

Just watched Superman and it has put the biggest smile on my face. David Corenswet nailed it as Clark, capturing his sense of morals with his farm boy naivety. The rest of the cast was superb and the script felt like a proper cosmic comic book. Congrats to Gunn and the entire production crew. 5/5
